-New website, EasyFoodandWine.com, was
launched today, offering enthusiasts of fine
cooking and the art of wine pairing a new
resource for gourmet recipes, tips on wine
pairing and more. The site is run by a husband
and wife, Michael - a gourmet home cook - and
Amy - a wine lover and former member of the
wine trade.
The site is designed to
provide easy-to-follow recipes and fine
wine pairings that any home cook or
amateur wine enthusiast can follow and
prepare. Mike has specifically crafted
each recipe on EasyFoodandWine.com to
be both elegant and wine-friendly while
requiring minimal time investment as well
as cooking expertise. Each recipe is
accompanied by two wine recommendations
selected by Amy, with both a “Splurge”
wine that is pricier or harder to find
and a “Steal” wine that is under $15 a
bottle and readily available throughout
the U.S.
“We
wanted to create a resource for home
cooks and casual wine lovers that would
be accessible and fun,” said Michael,
co-owner of EasyFoodandWine.com
.
“Unlike many sites or
shows that are run by people from the
food and wine trade, Amy and I have an
understanding and appreciation for how
enthusiasts outside of these industries
approach cooking and selecting wines. For
us food and wine pairing is a passion,
not a
profession.”
“I
worked for five years in the wine
industry at a small, family estate in
Napa Valley, but I believe I actually
enjoy wine more now that it’s just for my
own pleasure rather than as a job,”
commented Amy, Michael’s wife and
co-owner of EasyFoodandWine.com

“One of our goals with
the site was to offer wine tips for all
types of fans - those with more extensive
knowledge and curiosity who will love our
“Splurge” wines - and those who just want
good wine but don’t want to spend a lot
of time finding or analyzing it, who will
love our “Steal”
wines.”

added each week, and those who would like
